Meek Mill is quite the firecracker I suppose. I actually get quite a few laughs from celebrity drama especially over something some one with money should not be concerned TOO much about. Nevertheless here we are again!
So apparently Meek Mill “felt some type of way” about Wale fellow member of MMG, not promoting his sophomore album “Dreams Worth More Than Money” coming out in stores in September. After that was set in stone out cames the Twitter feelings.
Now I know everybody usually complains about Wale having too much to say, but this go round Wale actually was NOT for any extra drama. He responded, in the accusations of being a fake Twitter supporter,
“Few weeks ago (7w) I posted this .but ok. Movin along. My AVI always changed when it’s THAT time,” he opened his post.
He goes on to explain that he understands he may not necessarily “fit” the mold (not too sure what this explanation is parallel to) but that does not discredit his contribution to the hip hop world. BUT! I know y’all didn’t ask me but I am gonna say it anyway, I think it’s just a marketing strategy for the albums they both have coming out sooner than later, but ehhh, who am I? Just the Mayhem of course! :)
Ok so almost everyone on this green earth knows the Mayhem is CRAZY about Kendrick Lamar! And well what do you know today is the chief of Cali’s birthday so it’s only right I do a feature on him!
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, who performs as Kendrick Lamar, was born in Compton, California, on June 17, 1987. After writing a series of stories as a child, Lamar and his mother held onto those memories and when he grew older, he put some music to a combination of memories alongside lyrics about the rough Compton streets he grew up in. He rapped under the name K-Dot, releasing a series of increasingly popular mixtapes, which brought him to the attention of hip-hop super-producer Dr. Dre. Lamar’s debut major-label recording, good kid, m.A.A.d City, was released and reigned in great triumph as impressive sales skyrocketed to the top! It seemed a little to good to be true for an up-and-coming recording artist huh? NOPE! Obviously, he’s just an amazing type of man and MC (lol!). Favoritism? Call it what you want but Lamar’s lyrical content, growth, creativity and perpetual numbers are off the charts! Kendrick Lamar deserves whatever his heart desires. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the hip-hop KING.
